Steven Street, Technical Director, Ontario Wood WORKS! Steven joined the Wood WORKS! team in 2007 after a career in off-site panelisation and prefabrication. In his role as Technical Director, he provides information and technical support to design professionals, helping facilitate the increased use of wood products in commercial, industrial and institutional construction. Steven is actively involved in numerous key Canadian market development programs including Cross-Laminated Timber and the role wood plays in Mid-rise construction. He guest lectures at many Colleges and Universities on wood and wood use and is a regularly invited speaker at technical events presented by the OBOA, OWTFA, and the Canadian Wood Council.

Wood WORKS! is a national campaign to increase the use of wood in commercial, industrial and institutional construction. The Canadian Wood Council leads this project with funding support from the wood industry, the federal government and provincial governments across Canada. Wood WORKS! Ontario creates opportunities for wood products by providing education, resources and technical support related to designing and building with wood.

Michael de Lint is the Senior Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Province of Ontario. He is the recipient of the Bill David Ontario Merit Award through the Ontario Building Officials Association and a Leadership Award, Reach for Excellence from the Ministry of Muncipal Affairs and Housing. He graduated from the University of Toronto with his B.A (Hon.) and completed his Master of Arts at York University.
